KENTUCKY
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
To become a real estate agent in Kentucky, you must meet the
following requirements:

Be at least 18 years old

Have a high school diploma or GED
-
Complete 96 hours of pre-licensing education from a Kentucky Real Estate Commission (KREC)-approved provider

Pass the Kentucky Real Estate Salesperson Exam

Complete a national criminal background check
-
Apply for a license within 60 days of passing the exam

INDIANA
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
To become a real estate agent in Indiana, you must meet the
following requirements:

Be at least 18 years old

Have a high school diploma or GED
-
Complete 90 hours of pre-licensing education from an Indiana Real Estate Commission (IREC)-approved provider

Pass the Indiana Real Estate Exam

No felony convictions at any time​

Apply for a license within one year of passing the exam
